MIE Ensembles Perform at the Roosevelt Trunk or Treat Car Show
Roosevelt Elementary held their first annual Trunk or Treat Car Show fundraiser on October 29, 2016. Tricked out cars, spookily decorated trunks, carnival games, food, and plenty of fun were had!
An unexpected block-wide electrical blackout put a small damper on the performance plans of our MIE staff band, and MIE performing ensembles, but they improvised an acoustic set for the day's event. The Roosevelt Rock Band students sat in with the MIE staff throughout the morning, jamming, singing some of their songs acoustically and generally having a blast. The Singing Notes performed one song, and the Ukulele Ensemble also performed a short set!
